I am trying to setup a demo for one of our customers using Linux to backup a Windows server.
I put name in host files, on backup server (sep.netabn.com) and Windows server (w2k8-wells).
I can see files during backup selection.
Backups all fail with error:
“Login to stpd from w2k8-wells to sep.netabn.com incorrect”
What is stpd, and where do I put in that info.

Solution:    Everything must be defined by a full DNS NAME
