I started out early at 3:30 am, because my girlfriend having panic attacks. Only choice was to go to the airport that minute. I got to the airport 3 hours early. I had to wait a hour just for the ticket booth to open. Finally Midwest opened a person on the counter and I was able to get checked in. I was happy that I didn’t have to pay $20 for my check on bag. Security wasn’t bad, it only took about 10 minutes to get though the check point. At the gate, I recognized the three generations family that went to C IV. Not nearly as much Star Wars fans as CIV, the plane that time was over 3/4 fans. This time is was about 25%. Did see two girls going and they had the full Star Wars geek going on. The airplane was on time, and the plane ride was uneventiful. I got to baggage claim and turn on my phone and work was already calling. I called work and they seemed a little pieved that my phone was off, which kind of upset me. I got checked in at the Mears shuttle service and was able to get on a shuttle really fast, although I was the last to get off. I got to the Wydham about 1 pm and did the pre-check in because they refused to let me check in until 4. I decide to walk down to the OCC to get my hyperspace lanyard. It was like walking in oven, and I started cramping up immediately and I thought the walk would never end. Finally, I got there and was able to get my hyperspace lanyard without any delay, no lines. I walked around and was impressed with the big AT AT display. I did also see the G4 wampa monstor which was awesome. After resting up & cooling off, it was time to go back to the hotel. Within minutes of walking back, work called again and I gave tech support the whole walk, which did help take my mind of the heat and the blisters that were forming on my feet. I got back to the resort, and I went to McDonalds next door and got a value for about $10 dollars. They had pasta there, and ice cream which I had never seen at Mickey D’s before. I went to Wal-Greens and got me some Dew, 2 for 2.20 which was the best price for soda in Orlando. I then went and got my room key, and was able to go to my room. The resort had several buildings and it took me about 30 minutes to get my building. It felt very much like the Disney Music resort. The room was very disappointing, not what I expect for the Wyndham name. I called Lori and then went to the pool for dip. I tried to go to bed early, but I could not get to a deep sleep.
